Ingredients

  • 2 cups Organic Lowfat Peach Kefir or plain kefir for a neutral base
  • 1 cup fresh peaches cubed or sliced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches for that extra chill
  • 1 inch chunk of fresh ginger peeled
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 banana frozen (makes it creamier)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tablespoon finely ground flaxseeds
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or 1 1/2 teaspoons maple syrup for natural sweetness
  • 3/4 cup organic plain yogurt or 1 tablespoon unrefined virgin coconut oil for extra healthy fat
  • 1 tbsp MCT oil or 1 scoop vital proteins unflavored collagen powder for more protein
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice

Equipment

  • 1 High-Powered Blender

Method

  1. Prep Your Ingredients- Peel the 1 inch chunk of fresh ginger and slice it thin for easier blending. Cube or slice the fresh peaches. If using frozen peaches, measure them ahead of time. Make sure your kefir is chilled before use for best flavor.
  2. Blend It All Together- In your high-powered blender pitcher, combine the kefir, peaches (both fresh and frozen), banana (if using), ginger, yogurt or coconut oil, chia or flaxseeds, vanilla extract, lime juice, and your choice of sweetener. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste & Adjust- Taste the smoothie. If it needs more sweetness, add a little more honey or maple syrup. Want a spicier kick? Toss in another pinch of dried ginger powder or fresh ginger. If it’s too thick, add more kefir or peach nectar. For a thicker texture, add extra frozen banana or 1/4 - 1/2 cup ice.
  4. Serve & Enjoy- Pour the smoothie evenly into two glasses. Garnish with fresh peach slices if you like. Serve immediately and enjoy that first creamy sip!

Notes

This smoothie is a creamy, tangy, gut-friendly treat. Customize with sweeteners, proteins, or dairy-free options. Serve chilled for best flavor.
