Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients:
  • 1  whole ripe Hass avocado   peeled pitted
  • 250  ml  plain whole‑milk kefir   or dairy‑free alternative
  • 1  teaspoon  fresh ginger   grated
  • 4  tablespoons  fresh mint leaves   chopped
Optional Ingredients:
  • 1  tablespoon  honey   
  • ¼  teaspoon  cardamom   
  • handful ice cubes   
  • 25  g  sunflower seeds   adds creaminess
  • ½  banana   for extra creaminess

Method
 

  1. Prep produce: halve the avocado, scoop out the flesh, peel and pit. Grate the ginger and chop the mint leaves.
  2. Combine all ingredients in your blender. Tuck in the ice cubes, optional seeds, and a thumb of banana if you prefer.
  3. Blend on high for about 1 minute until smooth. Use the screen on your blender’s mode display to check consistency.
  4. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
